I can’t sit still when it comes to getting these up for all to see. I know there are a lot of people over from the UK that are very keen to see these before they head home. So here they are!
May I present Mr and Mrs Ryan and Rachael Theyer!!!
Yesterday was Rachael and Ryan’s wedding. Here is just a little sneak peak of what is to come! We all had a great day and the guys were great to work with. Racheal’s maid of honour came all the way from South Yorkshire, England for the day! A great effort Kayley I had a great day with you!
I love my job as a photographer. Not only do I get the opportunity to photograph weddings I also get the chance to record treasured memories for families far and wide. These images they will have and love for ever.
These two adorable girls were visiting from NSW with their parents and brother, and I was invited to recored their family portraits and these couple of the girls stood out for me. The girls were so into the photo shoot, bringing a change of clothes and they had their own ideas on what they would like to do. I had a great afternoon with them all and I was quite sad to see them head back home to the East coast.
Shot at my secret location with the very funky shed door!
Today once again Dad and I did the Denmark Art Markets. There was a massive crowd early with strong floor traffic but yet again a bit slow on the sales front. Thats OK its a great day out anyway.
However one visitor to my tent showed me Hipstamatic for the iPhone, in fact there was a lady there selling only images from her iPhone and Hipstamatic. So $1.99 later I had it installed and wondered around grabbing these images. Its very cool, need these presets in Lightroom!
TOKYO – Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the Nikon D4, a Nikon FX-format camera that serves as the new flagship model in Nikon’s lineup of digital-SLR cameras.

Here I pushed a nice fluffy beach scene into something a little different. Your lucky cause I pulled the last layer off it as maybe I went too far! Any way shot down at our local beach whilst shooting pre wedding photos.
Nikon D3s, 24-70 f2.8, massaged in Lightroom and Photoshop.
One thing I have noticed both with the Fuji X10 and the Nikon S8100 compact is that you can shoot into the sun with reasonable results. Its like the manufactures know that the enthusiast will do this. Shooting into the sun with my Nikon D3s is not as easy!
Here I have a 5 image stitch with the Fuji X10, hand held, worked in CS5 and Lightroom.
Today I captured Dustie and Brendan’s pre-wedding photos. This of course is not my first time photographing these wonderful couple. I was lucky enough to be at their engagement party a while back.
Pre wedding photos give us all a chance to catch up and they make a real cool start to the finished album. I am looking forward to their wedding very much!
Thanks guys for a very easy photo session. Wedding day will be a blast!
Toady I attended the Denmark Art Markets. And with my Dad we set up my display and entertained visitors all day. I took the opportunity to shoot some market scenes with the Fuji X10. I have worked these images in Lightroom to give them a more of a market feel. All images shot with the X10 were in velvia mode.
I think a lot of people will buy a Fuji X10 as their holiday camera. In this test I shot a typical summer holiday scene. The Fuji X10 captured it very well indeed.
One again shot in Velvia mode. I enjoy the saturated skies that velvia gives you.
Popped out this afternoon with Steven and Kizzy and watched the start of this yacht race. Luck this one was close enough for the 4x zoom on the Fuji X10.
1/850 sec f 6.4 ISO 200 112mm (eqv) shot in Velvia film simulation.
I am heading out today on this fantasic sunny day to test the Fuji X10 in what would be a classic holiday type shoot. Down the beach, blue water and skies.
The Fuji X10, like the Fuji X100, also a super cool camera, has brilliant film simulation modes. Classic Fuji films as well as black and white with different filters and sepia. I shot Fuji professional film at weddings for years and loved it.
Here I shot the Fuji X10 in straight black and white mode, 200 ISO f2.5 1/60 second.
This little spot is one of my favourites just out of town. Here I used the Fuji X10 and shot 5 vertical images at 28mm (eqv) 1/250 second f2.2 in velvia mode. Stitched in PT Gui and really thats about it!
The Fujifilm X10 is proving to be a real cool camera. I will one day buy an X100 but any one thinking about one, the X10, buy (from Camera Electronic)with confidence!
I took the Fuji X10 out for a walk after work tonight. As Adobe does not have a RAW converter for the X10 yet I am shooting in jpg, and you know what? Who cares! The images are great out of this little camera.
