Big vertical strike!

This was one of the first few that rained down on Albany. Now daylight shots are a bit harder! You can not leave the camera open on bulb and wait…point, focus and hope. Had the big Nikon on rapid frame advance and as soon as it started hold button down, clunk, clunk, clunk till the lightning stopped.

Now I may be seeing things but is that a fire at the base of this thing?

More good news looks like I squeezed into the Denmark markets for Easter. Come on down say hello, buy a print. heheh

Cheers

  1. Great shot, I always wondered how to get lightning shots during the day, I have alot of learning to do.
I don’t think it’s a fire at the bottom, it’s just where it hit the ground, I saw that alot that night.

  2. Thanks Jodie. Looks like your blog is going well. Good stuff.

    Cheers
