Apple Blossom

I don’t own a macro lens…yet, but my newly planted apple tree had a new blossom on it within a week of being planted. So out with the 600mm. Yeah that will do it!

Check out the fantastic bokeh this lens has. Thats the fuzzy bit in the background. Eats anything I have seen.

The next image is how I made it.

Data. Nikon D2Xs, 1/1500 sec, f4, 100ISO. RAW image converted in CS5.

Shooting a wedding this weekend with mate Leigh Diprose. Be good to get back into wedding mode!

Cheers guys.
