Smoke on the Water

Another from the series I captured last Sunday with Leigh. There was a fire burning maybe out towards Walople or Frankland, this in turn drove smoke over the water at Greens Pool turning it all a weird but cool orange.

I do like this scene. Quite Australian with blue sky and water, beach and a bush fire!

Cheers guys.

  1. Nice photo, i wish you could post them larger

    • Thanks Julie. If you click on it its bigger but you know that anyway!

Ideal blog or net size is 900 pixels on the longest edge. Fits most screens and loads quick.

See you soon at the club!

  2. Nice David. Love the stitch. Glad to see you kept the seagulls in!

  3. Yes I know about the 900 pixels on the long side but they seem to be quite small on here compared to those in my blog, maybe because they are panoramic shots I guess

  4. Wow, that is a fantastic shot!! The colours look awesome and the water is so calm. Love how you have kept the people in the background, very natural looking photo. Great work David once again!! Hope your having a great weekend 🙂

    • Hi Maryanne, always nice to receive your comments! Yes I too like the people on the beach. Its another nice day here so I think it will be busy out there again.

      Have a good one!

  5. Really nice photo David, I like the sense of depth you get from the foreground along the bay to the background.

    • G’Day Lloyd nice to have your comments as always. I am thinking of having a bloggers camp out this way one day. Will keep you posted.

      Cheers mate.

  6. Lovely shot, this is a classic from you 🙂
