William Bay Cottages Wedding

•March 3, 2013 • 4 Comments

Yesterday I received a phone call from mate of mine that owns William Bay Cottages, there is a link to the right for their wonderful cottages, saying that he has a wedding about to start and the Perth photographer is a no show! After a brief chat with Steve the groom I quickly got my camera gear sorted, smashed into my suit and drove the 75km out to William Bay.

I must say that everyone was very relieved that I had arrived and no doubt the Perth photographer will be getting a bit of a chat too this week!

The bride and groom are just lovely people as were the bridal party and in fact all of the people involved! William Bay Cottages is such a nice spot, I urge you to check it out!

Thanks Jenna and Steve I had a great time and it was a absolute pleasure to help you out of a not so pleasant situation!

And great job Laingy your quick thinking saved the day mate!

Wedding of Amy Hughes and Dion Stewart

Hi guys, another beautiful day in Albany for the wedding of Amy to Dion. We had a major scare when we were advised that Two Peoples bay had been closed to the public due to a pod of dolphins beaching themselves. A call to DEC by one of the bridesmaids found that DEC was letting us in! So we had the entire beach and reserve to our selves!

Any way here is a bit of a sample of the day. Thanks Amy and Dion, you were great to work with and I did have a great time as well!

As always Nikon D3s 24-70 2.8 and my trusty 80-200 2.8

I have just returned from Queensland and travelled very light camera wise. Just my brilliant little Fuji X10. Shot this low light sunset resting my X10 on a post. I am still impressed with this camera!

Pretty well straight from the camera with slight vignette and web sharpening applied.

Cheers guys.

Wedding of Susan and Joel

•August 5, 2012 • 1 Comment

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Susan and Joel’s wedding. When I first met Joel he said that I knew Susan and that we had gone to school together just a few years ago (!)

It was a lovely winters day and with all the green around and old buildings I thought the wedding took on a very much of an English feel.

Well enough talking, your here to look at photos and not read hey!

Cheers guys for a great day!
